Timothy A. Johnson  holds the B.A. in History/Secondary Education from Trinity Int'l University; the ThB and ThM from American Bible College; the Doctor of Divinity from St.Thomas-a-Becket University of Canterbury, ordination in the Evangelical Free Church of America, and has been consecrated as Bishop of MCMA, Africa Chapter.  He served on the pastoral staff at Central Free Church in Minneapolis (1980-84) and since 1984 as Executive Director of the Minnesota Church Ministries Association, and in several churches and organizations as a consultant. MCMA offers training for pastors and church leaders in the United States and also in a growing program on the continent of Africa.  MCMA Africa is based in Nigeria and reaches into several West and Central African nations. He is the author of  Respecting the Body: Affirming Today's Church; Christian Perspectives in the Public Square, Power Motivation for church leaders, The Gospel Nudge: How A Mentoring Mindset Accomplishes the Mission of the Church, 50 Topics to Engage Men in Conversation, and Gettting the Church of Target: Africa's Task Going Forward.   He lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota USA with wife Mary.  He also enjoys a great relationship with their son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Ashley, and daughter Andrea, son-in-law Ryan, and grandson Alexander--all the Minneapolis area.
