Understanding Spiritual Development to Maximize
Impact in Children’s Ministry--Ian
MacAlpine, MCMA Board, Veteran Pastor--Spiritual
formation from birth through maturity will be addressed using the intellectual development theory of Jean Piaget and the spiritual
development theory of James Fowler. We will address questions like: "At what age can a child make a sincere and
knowing salvation decision?" "How can we best teach children in light of this understanding?
Helping children Understand Their Salvation
Decisions—Ian MacAlpine, MCMA Board, Veteran Pastor Managing Behavioral Issues With Kids at Church--Ian MacAlpine, MCMA Chairman, Veteran Children’s Pastor--What is misbehavior, and why do children misbehave?
What are the most effective ways to deal with misbehavior? A theory of (mis)behavior management will be presented
that served the presenter well in forty-five years of ministry - years in which he never had an unresolved behavior problem
and never had to exclude any children.

prayer, fasting, Bible study, and giving. Includes Biblical justification for the disciplines and how leaders
can teach and inspire adults to practice the disciplines.
